(no subject)

Narnia: good.*

Ice skating: occurred; more fun in a skirt than jeans because it twirls.

Mediterranean food: good.

Boy dressed as Tumnus, with brown trousers, a tail, no shirt and an umbrella: my hero. (I was going to tell him so but he disappeared before I could, sadly.)

Presentation: nearly all prepared for.

Sleep: imminent.

[* Okay, a bit more: it was cute, and lovely--some parts I really adored--but overall it wasn't the best thing ever. I actually really want to rewatch the old BBC ones now (I think it was the BBC). Still, it was really enjoyable and very pretty; and the girl who played Lucy (Georgie Henley) was incredibly good. I might see it again; maybe if someone buys me my ticket. Ehehe. Or I might just go see it for Mr. Tumnus, who was possibly the most adorable thing I've seen on screen ever. I think I am, at this point, madly in adoration of a faun.
Also fabulous:
The gryphons, YES. CGI kicked ass on those.
Liam Neeson voicing Aslan, hee.
Susan actually killing something with her bow and arrows, and being somewhat smart rather than whiny.
Lucy.
Mr. Tumnus.
Mr. Tumnus' music.
The lantern.
Peter was quite good, really.
Perhaps more later...I feel it's time for sleep. Nearly. Yes. It will all be done with in...*counts* five and a half hours! Hurrah!]

Someone asked me to make a Tumnus Fangirls Facebook group. Eeek. I think this request was given to me because I, in a moment of extreme dorkiness and silliness, with the encouragement of other Roman Women students, made one for Germanicus, as something of a joke.
Allie said it should be called the "Someone Please Send Me Tumnus in a Box" group.
I'm not sure he should go in a box though. He probably wouldn't like it.

I'd take Tumnus in a box. I love Tumnus. Although yes, I have to admit he would probably prefer to not be in a box, so I'll take him whichever way he likes.

That sounded really, really wrong. I mean, I will have tea with him however he decides to arrive at my house, via box or wardrobe or otherwise.

and perhaps even break into the sardines...:)

[identity profile] elanor-two.livejournal.com 2005-12-15 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Mm, yes, please. I don't even like sardines all that much, but with him? I'd eat them. *snerk* (How far can I go? Oh, very very far. I think I need to stop now.)

[identity profile] lady-magpie.livejournal.com 2005-12-15 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Stop? Why stop?...I've been accused of being quite...punchy...of late. I've made several ALMOST inappropriate comments, several about Vestal Virgins.

Hah..beign punchy is good. Yes.
Oh really? What kind of comments about Vestal Virgins? (I imagine some pretty bad ones could be made about the eternal flame...)

[identity profile] lady-magpie.livejournal.com 2005-12-18 08:14 am (UTC)(link)
Well, Jason did write his paper on how the eternal flame, and by extension the Roman state, is a big flaming penis.

Buahaha! Yes.
