Blog for Choice!
Hello bloggers & everyone. It is Blog For Choice Day, so if you have a blog (& you vote pro-choice), say something!
There are plenty of good lists & reasons out there; I'm not going to write a long one for myself. I'm not going to get into the pros & cons of abortion itself, because that isn't the issue.
The issue is choice, & I would just like to say that it is my uterus, thank you, & if I get pregnant I am perfectly capable of making choices about what occurs.
I am not emotionally unstable & therefore unable to think clearly.
I am not in need of anyone, governmental or otherwise, to make descisions for me.
I am not going to judge a woman who chooses to keep it or chooses not to; whatever my own beliefs about the relative merits of abortion I do not want anyone to trod on the fundamental rights of a human being to choose what happens to her own body.
And that is all. Thank you.
