(no subject)

The amount of work I have to do for tomorrow (reading a huge packet for history + art history presentation + art history rough draft) is simply ridiculous. Really. I have passed beyond the point of useful panic into complete useless despair. And it isn't even the work itself that I hate; it's the fact that I don't want to do it that I hate. I used to love school work and learning so much. What happened?

Also I am utterly exhausted...Danica had Colin, who she recently hired, stay the night here because she says he's exhausted and gets no sleep because he lives in a party house, and she needs him to be rested because two other workers are sick. He got plenty of sleep. I know because he snored all night and I didn't get any. Grrrrowl. It wasn't even those regular snores one can get used to--it was the I've-got-a-stuffed-nose-but-I-refuse-to-breathe-through-my-mouth snores, the ones that start all quiet and whistly and then build up to a huge, loud SNORK, and then silence for about a minute and then it starts all over again. If there is any noise more frustrating than that in the entire world, I don't know what it is. I ended up taking a blanket and Good Omens out to the hall at four in the morning (don't tell me I should have brought Vasari; I was too tired to comprehend it), and sat there reading until five. God. I hate snoring. I don't care if he lives in a party house, I'm going to be selfish. It's my bloody room. (I couldn't care less if he slept here if he didn't snore. Really. But GOD...if I hadn't left the room I probably would have taken my pillow and pulled an Othello. Argh.)

Well. Back into the pit of despair (don't even think about trying to escape). I really hate not liking school. I really, really do.

ETA: Would anyone like to come to the Opera with me Thursday night? It looks to be really bizarre and very good. First come first serve, let me know by Wednesday night because I have to get the ticket from Annie on Thursday. Ta.

Pull an Othello. *snerk*

I'm sorry though. :(

Yeah, well. Without the sexual history. But. The pillow was really tempting me.

Whispering thoughts of murder....ehehe.

Umm... I don't like Kennawithmurderonhermind...

As for the school/learning thing, find great teachers and LATCH ON. That's been my luck here from the getgo, thank goodness.

Phil, do you honestly think I could kill someone? Really?

And yes...that is rather my plan...

[identity profile] countcomfect.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. If you really wanted to. You could do anything if you put your mind to it.

... no, actually. But it's still a scary concept! After all, you're irrepressible, who knows whether the murder might bubble to the surface...

I really doubt I could kill anything unless it was self-defense. Or it was a turkey, and I was going to eat it. I still have a grudge against turkeys.

The Turkey Assault and Injury League (TAIL) - President, Kenna Kettrick.

President of TAIL? ...right. I'll just put that at the top of my resume, shall I? ;D

I think "Head of TAIL" has a nice ring, actually.

It does. Probably the oxymoronic effect. :D
