a few things...randomly.
I don't remember who I stole this from exactly, but: If you see this on a friend's journal, quote Firefly!
Mal: "Now think real hard. You been bird-dogging this township a while now. They wouldn't mind a corpse of you. Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you."
and
Wash: "Everything looks good from here... (beat...playing with plastic dinosaurs over his console) Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive."
(as Stegosaurus) "We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land'."
(as T-Rex) "I think we should call it...your grave!"
(Stegosaurus) "Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"
(T-Rex) "Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh...now die!"
I LOVE Firefly. Which means I really, really hope the timing works out and I can watch Serenity on Saturday. If not I shall have to go Sunday. And next week is Mirrormask!
Speaking of which, sort of: I have three extra tickets to Neil Gaiman, Tuesday Oct. 4th, 7pm. Three dollars (or you can just owe me a hot chocolate or something). If you want to come, comment and let me know! I will likely be lining up uber-early--so come keep me company--but we can certainly meet uber-earlier and get food/bubbletea/whathaveyou.
And now I'm going to try and maybe be productive before work, despite the fact that I am exhausted. Still. ....or maybe not.

(I love the phrase "you know what it means when they start to take on that fizzy flavor;
each delightful quirk and nuance, gleaming with a peachy kind of preindication." because ahaha I know exactly what they mean.
Tim. Posing for pictures. Arrogant bastard, but silly as all hell.
Who is this person?

I think I'm going Saturday. I hope that works out. I think I might die if I have to wait any longer.
It got a good review in the paper this morning, YAY. Maybe lots of newbies will come to see it and then TV people will say, Dude, let's make a series, and all the Browncoats will laugh. I hope so.
