tell a sordid tale of adventure. + five pirate points.

I am oddly awake...& I was oddly awake at five this morning, too, which is strange, seeing as I hadn't slept. But it was completely worth it, not sleeping. I got to hang out with many amazing people, & play my new favorite party game (a thousand blank white cards! I am defintely stealing this for the SU set), & generally have a fabulous time--all in honor of Joel's birthday, of course.

& tonight there are people coming to dinner so I have to scram off & clean the house properly now.

I still want to be a pirate. Or maybe just go sailing. (A girl in my Spanish class is selling a 23-foot wooden refitted sailboat with trailer for $4500. I want it ridiciously badly, but I really wouldn't be the right person to take it, even if I did have $4500 to spare at the moment. Still, a pirate can dream. Aiee.)

i could colour my entire house & have some left over

Ok, I am not allowed to buy any writing-type implements, especially of the coloured pencil or marker variety, for at least a year, probably two. I'm not allowed to buy paint either, though paper & brushes are ok.

I did not realize how much I had in the way of art supplies until I really dug in & started organizing it all. Dear gods, girl! How many coloured pencils do you need?
