Estoy bailando!

Yes, we've learned the present progressive in Spanish now. Although not the past tense yet, & I can't remember it correctly, so I'll have to write this post in English. Mostly.
Por la noche pasada, mis amigos y yo fuimos (fuemos?) a la Century Ballroom, para bailar. & here my Spanish gives out, so I'll just say that it was fabulous & so much fun. There were lots of people I knew there--Sam & Amy & some other Roosevelt people, & other ones that Andy knew; & later Joel came, & then Stefanie & Catherine. & it was much less crowded than it's been before, & dancing was amazing.
Going to parks in the middle of the night? Also amazing. Getting told off by cops? Well, okay, we didn't really get told off, just told to leave, so not all that interesting. But good anyway, in a summery, nerdy sort of way.
Today I am cleaning the house with breaks to read sci-fi. Although really probably the other way around. & tonight is the dance show with Danica...& finishing writing that damn skit we have to do for Spanish. But that won't be hard, & it's nearly done with, & this past week has been fabulous, so I don't care. Aha!

...right. Off to clean more now...

P.S. Some bad metaphors from actual highschool stories. I rather liked some of them, in a bizarre way.
