to make me sound less like a spoiled homesick child, i will update to say i am better.
my flatmates showed up (all except one, we think she might be a business student since they don't come till later). cozy came over. we all talked. flatmates and i went to tesco's (the supermarket) to get groceries, so the place is becoming livable.
frankly the idea of buying food for myself for sixteen weeks is terrifying. why? i did this all last year in seattle. i don't know. but it is.
am spending lots of time on the internet because a) i feel i deserve it after spending all that time figuring out the converters, adapters, and wireless; and mostly b) because it is just about at my functioning level.
the flatmates all seem like lovely people. we talked theater. and school. and all that.
feeling better. but i still miss home. i miss you.
