Sep. 4th, 2007 03:29 pmHere I am...at Gate 121 in LAX, Los Angeles International Airport. For some reason, probably because I have never traveled with a computer before, it feels really bizarre to be online at an airport.
Also, I am firmly convinced that all airports are actually the same place, different branches of one weird location, in a different dimension. Nothing else accounts for it all.
Flight from Seattle to LAX was comfortingly boring. I read the rest of The Lady's Not For Burning,* wrote a little, colored in the cover of my journal in Sharpie (see? Boring...), & had bits & pieces of a conversation with the friendly lady next to me.
Said goodbye to the parents & Joel this morning. It has not hit me yet. I feel vaguely delirious, probably from lack of sleep.
There is a girl sitting next to me....I have a premonition that she's also an IES-er, but I don't feel like asking. Also, considering how many typos I am making (& fixing, which is why this post is taking a long time), my conversation is probably just as bad.
Boarding soon. Then another flight...then Dublin.
[* Can I just say how amazing this play is? Why on earth have I not read it before? I have another part to add to the list of parts to play one day: Jennet Jourdemayne. Oh yes.]
