My Daemon!
So I know I should be doing homework, but this is a break from painstaking research on Donne. Plus, I mean, DAEMONS. Seriously. (Also I took the test twice & it gave me an ocelot both times, so even though I tend to think of my daemon leaning more toward the pinemarten/ermine side of animals, ocelot was the one I chose when we made cat-people characters as a kid, & hey...I'll take him.)

I've got to say the site of the Golden Compass looks very spiffy and cool. I've also nabbed me an ocelot daemon, by the name of Gabriel. Personally I think an ocelot is too magnificent an animal to be be fitted as my daemon but I'm not going to complain. An ocelot! *squees*

She's a tiger.
I was honestly kind of surprised, especially at the "solitary" part (I prefer to think of it as "independent", I'm plenty social when I want to be.) I didn't think I had answered any of the social questions any lower than "neutral". I tried artificially upping my more social answers ("of course I LOVE crowds!!! YAY!") and I got a Crow, and a Spider, in that order. I figure I'll stick with my tiger.
well, hallo, eamalia.
(& I would see the solitary part as not necessarily preferring solitude to socializing always, but being particular about socializing & who with, & also wanting to take time away from most people every once in a while. That's how I am, anyway. "independent" is probably better, but the webmaster might not be a word geek.)
Re: well, hallo, eamalia.
But now that I think about it, I do work on my own by default. I prefer taking time to spend on my own, and while I like to lead in groups, I almost always choose independence over being a follower in one. I'm not really a part of any one tight-knit group, I'm a regular guest to many different ones. Even if I work well with others and really like others, most of my life is spent alone.
It's a strange thing to realize.
Re: well, hallo, eamalia.
If she were real, you could ask her...although daemons are notoriously evasive on the subject of themselves.
