Serenity Part Two?

If this turns out not to be true, then somebody is a horrible tease. And that somebody is Alan Tudyk. (Oh please, please, let this be true....)

PS. Who I am about to see in "A Knight's Tale" on Irish TV. What a beautifully bad movie.

Alan wouldn't lie to us... would he???

OH I hope not!

This comment contains poilers for those who've never seen Serenity.

First, just to get this out of the way:

YESPLEASEWEALLWANTASEQUELREALLYREALLYBAD!

That being said, the article has a good point about Tudyk being an unlikely person to be in the know since his character was "squished". But they're wrong about how it couldn't be a prequel-- there's plenty we don't know that could have happened between the end of the TV show and the first movie (a comic book covered a tiny bit, but not that much). Maybe we find out who the hell Book is before he gets the axe too.

I concur. Also, considering who Joss Whedon is, I wouldn't be suprised if Tudyk knew even if he wasn't going to be in the sequel. Also, if it was a sequel and not a prequel, there could still be flashbacks a la Out of Gas that required Tudyk for small scenes. (WANT WANT WANT.)

YES! WANT! MORE FIREFLY!

(assuming it's true, that is)

In any case, a nonzero chance is better than a nonexistent chance...

That's what I figure.
