it's like a new year...

where everyone is saying they're going to start something new, and turn over a new leaf...but really most people just want to keep their old resolutions and do them better....I am being new. I think. I can't tell...my parents are at any rate. I kind of feel like I had something ripped away from me, and I wasn't even the one who was fired...or quit. I didn't work there. Not technically.
Anyway. I'm almost done with college apps...and that's something to celebrate...:)
Why DO I want to go to Reed? Or Macalester? I really dislike these essays...
