Eeep. (no reason...)
Mar. 7th, 2004 11:03 amI was in Oregon. Now I am not. Apparently I missed a party at Katt's house on Friday...sad. Sorry, Kitty. I was sleeping on someone's floor.
I went down and visited Willamette...nice place, actually. Good food, nice dorms, friendly people, seems like a good theater community. Also they like me and are giving me money...and I did my audition (and I didn't die....) and so if I get that I will have another scholarship...*crosses fingers*
The only reservation I have is that everyone I met seemed terribly terribly normal. Very friendly, and cool people, but normal. I didn't meet any of the weirdos which I hope exist...on the other hand, they do have a Freaks and Geeks club. Hmmm.
I did a show with Magical Strings at Hokum Hall last night...lordy, that place is awesome. It's got old-weird-tiny-building vibes right up to the rafters, and they do vaudeville and weird shows there, so it's...it's just bizarre. In a lovely way.
Whoa...gust of wind there. Creaks up here in the attic when it's windy. I think I will put on a sweatshirt (oh, and maybe socks and shoes...maybe) and go outside. I need to be outside. I spend four hours in the truck yesterday and I don't think I want to go anywhere in that vehicle for a week. Eeep.
Oh! And mom is the governor's wife. In Tavern. Yay!
P.S. I just realized....12 days till my bithday! Whoot! (And ten until Philip's and eleven utnil Tom's. I only remember them because they're just before mine...you see, if everyone's birthday was in March I'd remember them all....)
