Whoooo....
Jul. 4th, 2004 04:25 pmHmmm....Happy, er, Independence Day, everyone...*sigh* I had this great plan to go down and watch the Naturalization Ceremony and then go to the AGAP party with dad, but....well, my motivation didn't help me out and I've spent all day sitting around reading. Which isn't so bad, actually.
If Em gets back in time there might be square dancing...hmmm.
CWS at Hugo was BRILLIANT of course, and we kicked major ass...(thank you to everyone who came and saw it, especially people I hadn't seen in a while, it was great to see everybody...). I think we made about $280 dollars (eat your heart out S.W.) so that's pretty good for a free show we only publicized for about a week. Hee...
[Searching my files, I ran across this Miss Manners quote...I don't know why I find it amusing still; possibly because of my mental image of the uncle's face.
Dear Miss Manners,
I am a teenage girl. When my uncle asks me in a condescending tone of voice "So, do you have a boyfriend yet?" would it be rude to sweetly reply "No, do you?"
Gentle Reader,
Not if you promise Miss Manners to do it in a sweet tone. How can it be rude to ask your uncle a question that he, evidently, considers proper?]
And now I will go and prove how incredibly unmotivated I am to do anything worthwhile, by taking horrendous numbers of online quizzes, because I can. ( So )
