I was really nervous this morning...it felt like an audition except more so, because at least at an audition I have something memorized. This is simply too much information to know it all at once. But Dan invited me in, and Tadie started by handing back my last test and my revised paper (98% on both, moohaha), and then asking me about medieval poetry. Ooh, ooh, I know this one! Heh...it was nice, actually. Like a conversation, not an intense test. The teachers would ask me questions and then interrupt and ask me something else...I got to talk about the divided line and the myth of the cave and Plotinus' ladder of reality and how they all hang together, and then defend Aristotle. I talked about history to Madsen, and went on for about three minutes on how cool I thought Thucydidies was. And then it was over. I mean, I know they say it feels fast, but lord.
There were fabulous gingerbread cookies downstairs in the Honors office, while I filled out forms and evals and so forth.
And you really don't need anything more than Madsen coming down and looking at TJ (who was right after me) and me and saying, You both were spectacular. No other way to say it. I mean, really...when Madsen thinks you're spectacular, what more is there? Hee.
And I finished my Plato paper, bwahaha. And it's good. And I'm going to get Earl Grey tea, mmmm...and tonight is Christmas Pageant!
Life is good.
