May. 23rd, 2005 10:16 pmIt should tell you something, if you know me at all, that I was so stressed out and pissed off last night that I actually would have drunk if my roommate had had any alcohol, like she wanted. Not very much; but I probably would have all the same. God. We had a bitch session like you wouldn't believe. Mostly having to do with the Honors (U and Core) messes and how angry we are at certain people in the college bureaucracy. Bureaucracy in general just really sucks.
Except Florentine costadas were pretty cool. Today's class was almost a good one, mostly because of the fact that everyone was totally relaxed, we could actually hear the teacher (I still can't stand her though, grrr, argh, get her away), and Erin and I were passing notes ("i want to be a barber/horse-theif" -"you can get hanged for stealing horses. i want to be a medici" -"a medici horsetheif then, i can circumvent the law and hang out with michelangelo" -"that sounds good, i like circumventing the law and stealing horses" -"who doesn't? you want to be a shoemaker too? we seem to be renaissance revolutionaries today")
[And it makes me very happy when she wants me to come sit by her after break. I am thrilled to have a friend here who actually feels like a real friend. This sounds really pathetic, and is despiciably like elementary school, but it's true; I don't feel like I have friends here, really. I have people I like, but no one I really feel terrifically close to. This isn't a poor-pathetic-me though. It's just the way it is. It'll change....]
Also my foot hurts. Bloody rash thing. Obviously this homeopathic thing doesn't always work. Blargh.
I still have to do my Wife of Bath New Historicism presentation tomorow. And write a paper about the article. Buggeralle. And buy tickets for Of Montreal tomorrow; only if Anna's performing Friday, maybe I oughtn't go. Ahhh....*runs away to do homework*
