Aug. 3rd, 2005 10:59 pmUtterly random notes in no particular order...
1. The birds woke me at 6:30 and so I was fairly groggy through the entire day. S'okay though; I let them out and they fluttered around and Aero tried to groom me and Texi wanted to be scratched. Was nice to have birds around again. Still, I don't think I'll get any more any time soon.
2. Alex came over randomly last night, and we ended up hanging for quite a while, swinging at the park, having weird conversations (are conversations with Alex ever anything except weird?), watching Vampire Effect with popcorn.
3. Hung out with Quigley this morning...played chess. Drank Chocolati Chill stuff...orgasmic chocolate in a cup, I swear to god. Also played chess. I fail miserably at chess. It was a truly bizarre game in any respect, but...well, I fail anyhow.
4. Rehersal today was good...I felt more productive, which is nice as I've been feeling rather useless. This play is such a good one already and this cast is so bloody brilliant that I feel like I don't have much to do--although really, that just means I'm uber-proud of everyone. I think we're finally doing a proper run-through tomorrow, which ought tototally kill my stomach with laughing be fun.
5. Theaterlab is going to be wicked brilliant, I am so excited! I have lines to memorize...whooboy, obviously I have been suffering much; I don't think I've been more thrilled for lines in a while. Heh. I'm doing the very beginning scene of Arcadia, as Septimus, with Kayla as Thomasina ("Septimus, what is carnal embrace?" -"Carnal embrace is the act of throwing one's arms around a side of beef."). Good lord I love Tom Stoppard. Also Cecily with Hilary as my Gwendolen, for the catfight over tea from Ernest. Take a walk on the Wilde side.
6. Saw Casablanca tonight--finally--was quite lovely. A classic indeed. The screenplay is effing brilliant.
I probably have more to say. But man am I tired. ...I want to go to bed.
