New Journal, indeedy!
Sep. 23rd, 2005 09:33 pmI actually did it, now--I made a new journal and copied all (or nearly all) of my writing and art posts over there. It's going to be friends-only, but I shan't be too judicious in my friending; go friend it, and I'll friend you back. Here tis:

Perhaps a proper place to deposit such posts will make them more frequent, hmm? One can only hope.
(And in terms of the contest, I didn't really use any of the suggestions--though I loved them, thank you--but I did steal word-ideas from both Maggie and Philip, so you can both get a drawing. Request anything you like. Can't promise how good it'll be, but I'll do it. *grin*)
In other news, Tutoring class continues to be terrifying at all times except when it actually happens. Go figure. Some of the veteran consultants came today, and we talked in pairs; Jean is lovely and helped a lot of my "gawd help me i have no idea what i'm doing!" stress. Also Dr. Nichols told me, as I was going out the door, that someone had already requested me to come into their class (consultants go into various classes to introduce the writing center, explain its use, encourage people to come, &ct). I went, "guh? Who?" and he says, "Andrew Tadie, for some of his freshmen," and I said, "oh, hah, the freshman honors kids!"
So I feel all special and fuzzy and wanted inside. Hee, Dr. Tadie is the best.
Library booksale tomorrow. Although it is true that there is no such thing as too many books, I am going to have to convince myself that I can't buy every single one. Dammit.
Also tomorrow is CORPSE BRIDE! Am excited. Really, truly.
