oh, the days of dial-up....
Nov. 22nd, 2005 11:00 pmI just watched You've Got Mail (no, I'd never seen it before), which was adorable, and made me want to own a bookstore. A little one. And then kick chain-store ass.
Except not in New York, because Seattle is cooler (says the girl who has never been to New York). But still. It is.
And besides the bookstore was also rather close to mental percolations that have been going on in my head which I'm not going to go into, thank you very much. Gar.
Today Erin and I found Dr. Madsen (again) and got to talk to him about his trip, which was fabulous. Also apparently we "freaked out" Dr. Zingari (first year kids' teacher) when we walzted into his class after Michael said, "hey, Madsen's auditing our class today!" So of course we had to say hello. (And by auditing, he meant, filling out weeks' worth of NYT crossword puzzles in the back.)
Madsen took 3000 pictures. There is nothing, really, that I can say to that.
I am so excited for this class next quarter...whooee. 8:15 won't matter nothing if it's Dr. Madsen for history.
And I am home now, yay. And my parents bought a pack of butter (which is hardly ever in the house) because my mother thought I might want to bake when I'm home.
I love my parents.
Now: finding sheets and pillows for my bed. Right. Er.
(And this icon has nothing to do with this post. I know. I just like it.)
