(no subject)

Oh, Shakespeare. Since we're reading 1 Henry IV, I'm using my smaller copy from fall quarter so I don't have to cart my big book around, & I'm finding all my notes in the margins. At the beginning of 2.4, alongside Hal's monologue: "Is he drunk?" Two pages later, after the Francis episode: "He IS drunk."
In a couple weeks I get to do a presentation on witches & the supernatural, for Macbeth. Huzzah! Perhaps, if I am in the right mood, I shall give it in a peerrrrrrfect Scottish accent! *snerk*

Sadly, Wait Wait was all short this morning because it's NPR's pledge drive. Man, if I had a lot of money, I'd donate, but I'm so broke right now I can barely justify buying myself food. Although I was really amused by Ira Glass using Howard Stern's "pay for radio! it's better than commercial radio!" bit, that he did for his own Satellite radio show, to promote NPR. Go Ira.

I have tea & cookies. I have eaten more Thin Mint cookies in the past few weeks than is healthy. Dammit, Anneka, why'd you have to go an give me a box? 'Cause now I'm eating them.


I really have nothing to say. I should get cracking on my homework & finish more so I can watch a movie tonight. Maybe The Merchant of Venice, which I just bought. Mmm.

Ack. My audition's tomorrow night. Crap. I have everything memorized, I just feel...out of theater shape. I want classes or something. I want to do really well for Carol, even if I don't get a part...Aieee...

Hey...a song called Firefly just came on the radio...too bad it isn't very good. *sigh*
