lists make tired people amenable to blogs
May. 14th, 2006 03:48 pm(The fact that I used the word amenable while I'm this delirious probably makes me an elitist English cow, but I don't care. Amenable amenable amenable.)
The list, without pluses or minuses, because I'm too tired to figure it out:
- Relay was fabulous, though really exhausting & very, very cold. There was a lot of loud music & sitting around with people playing cards & walking around a track--& one hour is actually so much less time than you'd think--& trying to sleep, an impossible goal.
- I am utterly exhausted. Kind of like the feeling after a cast party, but the tiredness is deeper in the back of my head & settled into my hips and shoulders instead. I almost got a headache, but refused to.
- I have nearly finished reading the first three chapters of Orlando, which I am really enjoying. I can't tell if my delerious state is making it harder to comprehend, or easier to read. It's so meta & wacked-out that I'm tempted to say the latter.
- I just spend loads of time on the SU website figuring out my life. & you know what? It kicks ass. My schedule, I mean. It's going to be amazing. I can manage a triple major in three more years easy, plus open classes for other things I want to take. Next fall is going to be Design for Theatre I, Acting I, Stage Combat, & either Dr. E's Medieval Monarchy class, or the Writing Fiction class. Sweetest schedule ever.
- Emily is leaving tomorrow for the entire summer. I am annoyed that I don't get to see her at all, but I guess she's going to be having wild times with seabirds in Alaska, so.
- People are worrying me. I don't like it when that happens, because it means I have to poke at things, & I'm somewhat afraid that I'm poking at the wrong thing with too little information. On the other hand, I get the feeling I'm going to need to poke at this, so. Eventually, sooner rather than later. No, I'm not going to explain myself.
- I looked at the Folklife schedule today & I'm so incredibly thrilled I can't believe it. I'm going to be dancing and singing & watching people do both & wandering about in the markets & it's going to be amazing. Two weeks! I can't wait.
