quickly...
Aug. 6th, 2006 12:39 pmA quick post, because I have to finish homework & then it's off to Philip's:
Friday was Salsa dancing! We ran into Kayla there, which was lovely. She got to dance with Andy, which was entertaintaing (because Andy is very flamboyant, & because Kayla had the look on her face that I used to get all the time--the I'm-not-sure-what-dance-move-this-is-but-okay! grin). Also we asked a supergood professional dancer to teach us the neck hold dip, which is really hard, & I am definetely not in shape enough to do that properly. Yet.
Saturday: Went to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Andy--for free! My reviewing skills are dead, but in brief: Norbert Leo Butz is incredible and is my hero of Broadway, fer real. The music was catchy & silly & wonderful; the sets were flabbergastingly shiny; the show broke the fourth wall so much it might as well have been a screen door, which is something I love in a play. Go see it. You can get student rush tickets day-of, & it's worth it. Go go go.
& now mother needs on the computer. Righto. Toodleoo kids!
