Unrelatedly
Nov. 9th, 2006 04:11 pm- I am so tired that to take a nap now would screw me up more than fix me. I will have energy for the show; I just don't have any now.
- Opening night is tonight. I wrote notes for everyone in the cast, like I always want to but hardly ever manage to do. I'm really incredibly excited--in my mind, that is, I'm too tired to show it--but I am thrilled. I want people to come. & I want them to like it.
- Last night was preview; forty-odd fine arts majors came to see it. We all had the distinct feeling that 90% of them didn't get it at all, but at least we got first-audience jitters out of the way, or I did anyway.
- Last night there was a get-all-this-emotion-out yelling fest after performing. It hurt my throat a little & turned into something a little crazier than it was supposed to; but I think it was good in any case, & friends who hold you while you cry for absolutely no reason are wonderful.
- I am drinking jasmine tea, & it is lovely.
- Tomorrow will be both full of sleeping (the first day I honestly get to sleep in since...possibly since school started) and homework. I need to get back into the swing of history; my head's been too long in Three Sisters.
...that's enough. My brain's still very strange today; it's been a weird week. Hell, it's been a weird quarter. But good, I think. Overall. I'm gonna go break a leg now.
