forty-nine hours of wonderful
Dec. 15th, 2006 07:32 pmThe storm last night was amazing. It meant Northwest was closed, which is possibly the only time I've been really disappointed that there was no school. But Peter opened the door for us and we got to see all the new additions and remodels.
It doesn't feel the same anymore--a little too shiny for Northwest, still, but I think it'll grow on me. Or the kids will wear it down so it fits.
Joel & I saw Stranger Than Fiction today too, which was good (Emma Thompson is a goddess as always--though a shaky, chain-smoking one here--& I liked Will Ferrell's performance, which was good since I usually don't as much; good movie, anyway).
Now I really have to finish that review...& it's time to trim the tree. Mmm, Christmas.
P.S.--Everyone in Seattle for the winter...are you going to be around on the 21st?
