Things that are good about today:
- Hanging out with Elsa! Much talk & good times; I haven't seen her in a long time. We had a late lunch at CafePresse (& yes, it really is that good! I had an amazing salad. Except that the ceiling shedded on me, which was not great), & wandered a bit on campus, & I met a friend of hers.
- Walked around with my fiddle all day & got people asking if I played. This maybe should have made me feel silly, since I don't yet, but instead it made me feel artsy & good.
- Was paired with Matt at the WC to test a game three consultants are doing for the WC Conference next week. We finished it really fast & then spent the rest of the time laughing our heads off at ideas for "Choose Your Own Adventure" novels based on Greek Tragedy (hamartia gets you on every page), Shakespeare ("to be, turn to p. 45; not to be, turn to p. 67"), or my personal favorite, Heart of Darkness / Amazon Trail (it doesn't matter what you choose; life doesn't mean anything anyway).
Things that are just confusing:
- The weather. Snow? Now? In April? Seattle, what is wrong with you?
& it's off to do another round of weekend Strindberg now. I have to say, I missed it...I feel like it's been an awfully long time.
