Things I Love Thursday, for realsies
Feb. 26th, 2009 04:33 pmIn no particular order, as usual:
How pretty the snow was this morning!I did not love having to scrape it off my car & thus being slightly late to work, but I did love how beautiful & fluffy it was, & how much it didn't frak up the streets like last time. Fluff. :)
Acting II scene day, which is always fun. (Oh My Lord, Sean & Nolan were powerhouses! & Elspeth & Wilfred's scene was so silly & then so heartbreaking. I love watching everyone's, though.)
+ on that note--I love knowing what scenes I'm doing--or at least my scene partners--for the last three scenes (in only three weeks, yikes): Elspeth & I are doing a Hedda-Thea scene from Hedda Gabler, Jeffrey & I are doing the Konstantin-Arkadina scene after his suicide attempt from Seagull, & Jerome & I are doing something from Tennessee Williams. Acting!
LEEANN ARRIVES TOMORROW. I see her in less than 24 hours. Agagagaga! Words cannot describe--! Expect lots of pictures & gleeful gabbering later. :D
The script! Even though it's intimidating as hell. I'm about to dive into draft two. It scares me, but in such a good way.
For a sort of sarcastic-silly love: the headline on NPR, which usually is not quite so, uh, obvious: "Taxes On Rich Would Help Pay For Health Care: Obama's plan is being opposed by those who say taxes shouldn't be increased to pay for health care." ...um...yes? The syntax makes me laugh.
Josh, who I saw in the cafeteria today & who has a smile that could melt the devil's heart.
Free extra brownies from a pile of extras in Fine Arts. Nom nom.
This song. :D
Happy Thursday....what do you love?
