things i love thursday
Mar. 12th, 2009 05:43 pm* Chocolate chip cookies. Seriously, C-street, even when they're not that good they're amazing. What the hell. I love them.
* Acting II--specifically, Elspeth & I kicking ass & owning in class today! Our scene rocked. Even Ki said so. :D The arc was clear & good, & we both larded like there will be no more lard tomorrow, & it felt really solid & just all-around good. (Also, that Perez came to class to watch!)
* My skirt. Um, I guess it should go under the above category, but I think it needs its own--I wish I had a picture. I will probably take one before it goes home to Harmony. It is asymmetrical, bright orange with dark orange broacade & ruffles, & weighs about as much as a large cat. It is awesome.
* Actually getting to do the radio show tonight--what what! It has been a very long hiatus for me. Rock on, Broadway Hour.
* I'm going to review Merchant of Venice at SSC tomorrow with Perez! Finally I get to review something again. Yowza! (Plus there may be salsa dancing. Maybe.)
* Arrested Development--Bailey, bless him, has the whole first season, & we are now through disc one. This is the kind of show that if someone described it to me, I would think was terribly dull, but watching it, I laugh pretty much the whole time.
* My hat! I am knitting a hat. This is the first project that I have not bailed out on in what feels like years, so knock on wood, I may finish it! I sort of hope the weather gets warm enough to make it obsolete before I do, but I'm still proud of it. Will post it to Ravelry as soon as I get some photos.
* Girl's night at the Cherry St. Apts. I miss hanging spontaneously with a bunch of awesome women. Or perhaps I got too used to it during Vag Monos & now I have to make sure it happens more often.
* & speaking of Vag Monos, we finally got a write-up in the Spectator. I don't really like the Spectator at all, but it was still nifty to get in there with a couple awesome photos of the cast.
I think that is enough for now...& besides, I'm very hungry. Food time!
