New Yawk!

I'm in New York City! It is large and confusing but I think I like it. The subway and trains, though, weirdly remind me of London more than anything else, and so in a surreal way I keep thinking I ought to be in London and realizing I'm not, which is bizarre (and makes me miss London a whole lot).

We packed a ton, or what felt like a ton, into yesterday--after I flew in on a red-eye--so I ran on very little sleep...but I've got some now, and feel so much more awake, huzzah! We are about to head out and bring Elsa's cat to have her nails trimmed so she doesn't puncture the air mattress I'm sleeping on...that would be problematic. And then some more cooking and baking, and a party...New Yorrrrrrk!

If there's anything I must see...now's the time to tell me. :)
