Second-to-last day of classes, and yes it was bizarre. We laughed far too much over nothing at all, in both classes, and had an argument about pulley systems (damn those metaphyiscal conceits and people who have no mechanical knowledge) and got exam questions.
Well, in philosophy Hopkins told us all the answers. So that'll be easy.
And in Lit...I guess it's a good thing when I want to work on every single question and then talk about them? All of them? Hah, I love that class. I am so glad we have Taylor next quarter...it's just an extension. We get to pick one question to prepare a response for, and then he'll ask us a second. I want to do too many of them. I think my favorite question may just have to be this one though:
"In 1598, a commentator (Francis Meres), listing Shakespeare's plays up to that date included Love's Labour's Won, which does not now exist. On the basis of Shakespearean plays you have read (here or elsewhere), describe some of the characteristics we can expect that play to have when it is rediscovered."
(Which of course made me think of Thursday Next and Cardenio, and I really want to answer that question.)

Tomorrow is World AIDS Day. I am wearing a shirt that says "i'm a statistic" to represent...one hundred people, I think, with AIDS. So, um, be safe, kids. Use condoms. Don't share needles. Be smart. All that.

Now I needs must finish my lit paper draft...and all my history journals for that book I don't understand at all. Argh.

...wait, what? Danica just came in and said Campion Hall has $3000 in community damages...for throwing a microwave out the 12th floor window and vomit in the elevators. What? Who does that? Goddammit, I hate paying for other people's mistakes, it pisses me off. Grrrrr.

Your classes sound so fabulous, Kenna... augh. Love's Labour's Won, huh? Hahaha it sounds like the sequel. Lord.

Anyway, I miss you tons. Theoretically I could go to Compline on Sunday because BXPE ends at 5pm...? You free?

Could be the sequel. The Princess goes to back to France and rules it with a firm but gentle hand, and then the King, wossface (I've forgotten his name) abdicates in favor of love and goes and marries her and they live happily ever after.
See, it's tricky, because Love's Labor's Lost is technically a comedy...so you've already got the comedic structure, and...argh. I'm not answering it now, you're not Taylor. :)

Um...yeah, I could probably go. I have an honors thing from 7-9...but if I take my bike (brrrrr) I could probably make it by 9:30.

Haha... well, don't stress about Compline if it sounds hard... it's so COLD out nowadays.

Yeah. I really want to go...but I think it would be too crazy. I'll wait till I'm out of school to deal with that.
I'll see you soon though! I'm coming to opening of BXPE, if not sooner than that. :)

Technically it's "Loue's Labours Won" ;) If that's among the questions and there are other ones you are considering then you really do have a good class, 'cause in most classes that'd be by far the best question.

Second-to-last day of class? I hate you. I have 3 weeks left. And 4 weeks after break, too.

Community damages? Come on Kenna, admit it, you're the vomiter. And the thrower-of-microwaves (sounds like a title: Kenna, Thrower of Microwaves, faces Homer, Singer of Tales in tonight's epic pit match!)

Loue's Labours Won, right. I'll make a point of that. :)

Thrower of Microwaves indeed. Bah.

Three weeks? When do you get back to Seattle? Just before Christmas?
