What do you do with power once you've got it? In the cases of Tamburlaine, the Jew of Malta and Faustus, you fail horribly and die, while staying an oddly admirable tragic figure. (Gotta love those paper notes.)

In other news, I have just finished my history paper: fourteen pages, sweat, blood and near tears, and invaluable parental help. My god, that paper was ridiculously hard. But I feel kind of proud now, in a Hey, I've Done That Big Paper For Kangas sort of way. (With twelve hours to spare, I might add; time for a nice long sleep.)

Check Check: the list of Things To Do:
- write out questions for F.U.C.K
- audition for Tartuffe
- write my 390 paper
- survive orals
- survive my presentation
- go shopping with Danica! See Narnia with Erin! Go home!

But remember... Tamburlaine takes two plays to do it (as does Faustus in Goether, but I assume you're referring to Marlowe). This introduces an interesting bit, because he is completely triumphant at the end of the first play.

Congratulations on the history paper!

I know. That's why I didn't put that part in my paper after all. :)
