The end of quarter tradition (is it really?) in which I type here, for posterity, anything said in class that I felt was memorable enough to be scribbled in the margins.
"But if you switch out the wafer with blueberry muffin, that something really big, that's different..." -Dr. Kangas
"It's a good way to be right, if you kill off everybody else." -TJ
"Revelation is the only book of the Bible that still has uncertainty--(pause) That is pretty much completely untrue." -Kareem
"Oh, we're due for an apocalypse--"
"Yeah, been a while since the last one." -TJ, Michelle
"Famine is just hungry people and no one wants to join up." -Kyle
"We've always been orbiting around the sun, haven't we?"
"Have we?" -John, Dr. Kangas
"The Hoppers...I mean, the Shakers--"
"I just got this image of a radical sect, hopping...faith, hop and charity, and the greatest of these is hop." -Laura, Dr. Kangas (who is a Red Dwarf fan! By that he got about a million times cooler, if that was even possible.)
Bourbons: Absolut monarchy.
"Poems aren't accidents!" - (i can't remember...sadly. maybe john?)
"Squishy metaphysical thought." - Dr. Kangas
"I think Will would have liked it." -Dr. Taylor, on Nunn's 'Twelfth Night'
"The mneumonic of Shaw is the turning of the page, rather than the end of the line." -Ian McKellen (from a video we watched in Lit)
"Cool!--points!--worked!" -Dr. Taylor (on what a samurai would say about sneak attacks)
"He does stuff! He's God!" - Mallory
"Wise up, God!" -Dr. Taylor
"What does 'battering' make you think of?"
"Pancakes."
"Yeah, pancakes!" -Dr. Taylor, Mallory, Kareem (at which point Taylor looked caught between laughing and leaving the room in horror)
And the list of things to do? Oh, yeah, just one: GO HOME. Whahey!
