good lord.

So, yesterday I slammed my finger rather hard in a Bathhouse bathroom stall door--which hurt like effing hell, I can tell you--and the first coherent thought that came into my head (after FUCK THAT HURTS) was the image of Will getting his fingers cut off, and then the thought, "I wonder if it felt anything like this?"

...obviously, I am far too involved in this story. Obviously.


We did tech with the kidlings this morning. I don't think we've once run through the entire thing, we don't have a running time, we are lacking in some costumes, and I cannot understand some of those kids when they talk on stage. On the bright side, people are still making nifty acting discoveries, some of those kids totally rock my world, and Akira is more or less actually moving like a monkey now (except when he's trying to fix his tail).

Austin told me he was going to get a bottle of scotch and take a shot every time a kid called for line tomorrow, "and I'll be comatose by scene two." Which gave me the most hilarious mental image of the entire process; so thank you, Austin. And you better had bring the scotch, because I'm going to need some as well, I think.

..Coo. I just signed someone up for two classes and a membership. I did something useful! Ehehe...heh.
