Oh, CWS, how I love thee
Jan. 29th, 2006 11:23 pmDerek: "Ladies and gentlemen, you'll have to forgive him--it's a really emotionally draining speech, and he's been under a lot of stress lately, what with what happened to Wash and all--"
Tom: "WAAAAAASH!"
Derek: "You see, Wash was his favourite character on this sci-fi show..."
Laine: Tom, it's okay...it's okay...
Tom: *incomprehensible, painful moanings about firefly, wash and re-runs on the sci-fi channel*
I swear I nearly fell out of my seat. They did a really lovely job, and it was so much fun to see the show--yet again (I must be collecting them, what ho?), and to see Patrick my darling my love.
Speaking of love, if you aren't doing anything for Valentine's day you should celebrate your love of theatre and come to the grand opening of the Lee Center for the Arts, aka the most shiny new amazing theater ever. (Details forthcoming.)
Speaking of details, this is what I am lacking for my lit draft tomorrow. Blah. I am going to work some more, and work through lunch, but I am probably going to simply end up turning in a rather detailed outline with a lack of any actual evidence to support myself; which will give my peers and Dr. Taylor very little to work with; and I will simply fail in the paper conference department. Which is actually what I generally do anyhow, so no worries.
Speaking of no worries, I got to eat real food tonight (how does that connect? I have no idea. Perhaps I was not worried about the health standards of the food). I went home for dinner, had chicken and risotto of the first degree, mmmhmm. To semi-celebrate my dad's birthday, sort of. And there was no ice cream, but there were amaranth crackers, which are better, and which I stole.
Speaking of stealing, I want to be a pirate. And with that, I'm off.
