& again...
Apr. 30th, 2006 05:56 am+ The shows today went well--both audiences were really into it, & laughing & having a good time. The matinee audience was tiny, but they definetely made up for it by being loud. We had a full house in the evening, & they loved it too. I really like audiences who pay attention & are involved & laugh.
- Still a little behind on homework. Am catching up.
- I am a lame cover-person. Never ask me to cover for you, unless we work out a solid alibi first. Yeah, I'm a good actor; but I'm not very good at improv. (No, I'm not going to explain this one. It isn't anything illegal, though. Just secret.)
+ Speaking of acting, the idea of Dr. Taylor guest directing R&J at the Lee Center flashed into my head this morning & now I really want it to happen, & I really want to play Juliet. I get weird theater obsessions.
+ Speaking of weird theater obsessions...well, not so much. Fairly silly. Let's just say it's a little like last summer & Tim. Mmm-hm.
+ The parents came to the show last night, they liked it. Also I now have Serenity & the accompanying soundtrack. Huzzah!
+ HEY. Anyone want to give me money? Help support cancer research & the survivors! I'm walking in Relay for Life in two weeks, & I have raised very little money. Eeek.
- I stink. Doing two shows in one day in a hot theater & hanging in a hot dressing room will do that. Sadly I am too tired to take a shower tonight. Eew.
Okay. I'm either going to do homework...or more likely, just fall asleep. Cheerio, kids.
(Oh, this music. I might cry. I'm not being facetious. It's gorgeous & sad &...ooh, the beautiful....)
