&....it's the same.
May. 4th, 2006 05:59 amWe had a wonderful audience tonight--lots of laughter, lots of students & friends who got things & made noise. I like that.
We talked about the Anne / Gloucester scene in Richard III today. Man, that is a freaky scene. Man, do I want to do it NOW. Apparently there's an Ian McKellen version of the play? Dear god. As if I needed to be any more in love with the man than I already am. Obviously one of my summer projects is going to have to be an Ian McKellan movie night...
I am being frustrated by Lit. I went in to talk to Iyer today & then realized I really had nothing to offer her as a question, so her help was pointless. I felt stupid. I don't like feeling stupid.
Both classes were good, though. Dammit, sometimes I really don't like having so many amazing things I want to do. Life would be easier if I was obsessed with only one thing. Also a lot less interesting. So, um, shut up, me. Even though three majors is ridiculous. But how can I choose? I can't give up English; reading & writing is my lifeblood. But history is just so amazingly cool & I have the Intellectual Goddess for an advisor! & Drama...oooh, I want to take those classes so much, & being in Tartuffe, as bizarre as it is, just reminds me daily how fun this is (& Andy is so not helping by dancing madly with me in the dressing room)...oh, right. SHUT UP.
The Evil Tulips (as I like to call them) that Miranda got me are just so fabulous I had to take some photos:

& from the side....
