Jun. 15th, 2006 03:58 pmI can't decide if I feel boring or bored. In any case, I'm sure writing a long rambling entry about the many interesting few things I've been up to will help. (Sarcasm? Oh...right, that stuff.)
Today was my interview with Maria--it went well, I got to chatter about SPT & stage management & I think she liked me. I'll hear on Saturday. The commute would be a bitch & a half, but I think it would be worth it--it sounds like an amazing show, with a bunch of really fabulous artists, even besides the whole Todd Jefferson Moorehero-worship thing.
I am nearly done with my room--it's even vaccumed! & Dad & I built a bookshelf yesterday, which was good (though it's a little wobbly. But then my floor's not exactly even, either). Now I just have to shift everything over & put my books away properly. I want to build more things, though--besides the fact that power drills are a blast, it felt really good to do something with my hands & body instead of my brain. Of course I read an entire novel Wednesday, so I can't discount my head entirely--but I've spent too long in academic world, & I need more time outside of it. Maybe I'll go to the park & play. That sounds like fun...
I was going to write more, but I can't remember what I was going to say, & that park idea's looking better & better. Over & out, pretty pigeon!
