today was...
Jun. 20th, 2006 09:55 pm- actual spanish in spanish class (hola. como te llamas? y tu? como se escribe tu nombre? que hora es? ...& i feel bad that there aren't accents).
- meeting joel to write & then not really writing at all before lunch
- lunch: that mediterranean place on broadway is really good, & has fabulous but messy sandwiches
- finding & reading all of the 'serenity' comic ("um...we're looking for a specific comic. no, not that one. no, not that one either").
- searching for outlets. starbucks: lame. cafe ladro: the best ever.
- actually writing (i think it was four pages or five? something solid, anyway). "oops, a metaphor just floated past. ...i didn't touch it!"
- also, the fact that i finished 90% of my homework while sitting in ladro & writing (ok, so joel was doing the actual writing at that point, but i was paying attention to the story more than my workbook) makes me very pleased.
....now if i could just find a job. (finishing applications tonight. handing them in tomorrow. have been searching craigslist for secretarial stuff. oy vey.)
