no, there is too much. let me sum up.
Oct. 8th, 2006 02:46 amI am a busy, busy, crazy, happy little scamp. This scamp hasn't gotten enough homework done this weekend to be a really good little scamp, but she hardly cares. In brief...
Friday, after rehersal, I went to see The Louis Slotin Sonata at Empty Space. I have to write a paper on it for acting, & I hardly know where to begin. It was incredible. Paul Morgan Stetler played Slotin, & his acting was impeccable. The set was gorgeous, the directing snappy, the musical number (The Sodomsaki Shuffle) bizarre & amazing. I got the first act's script for class; I really want to get my hands on the rest.
After that was Triple Threat. The entire row in front of us was drunk. We were loud, amazingly loud. There was a whole slew of talented people that night...Nicole performed again & she won, which is fabulous. Andrew is my auditioning hero. (My favorite part was when he was dancing to Michael Jackson, & dropped it like it was steamingly hot, & the drunk lady in front of us goes, "Did he just? He just! He just dropped it!" Tipsy people....)
Saturday was...today. Yeah. Wow. It was long. Rehersal was nice & hard & picky. I got a little homework done. Andrew, Andy, Stef, Peter & I went to "tick...tick...BOOM" at Arts West, & it was beautiful. (Nakka, do you have the soundtrack? Can I steal it?) & then they came back to my apartment & we had a proper drama-geek-kid rockout session (read: singing musicals really loudly & dancing. Stef taught me the proper way to drop it like it's hot, & the right way to do a bodyroll, instead of the backwards way I know. There is video footage of this, which Andrew had to hide down his pants in order to keep it away from me, & which all gods willing, the world will never see).
Then Andrew & played Magic: The Gathering until 2 in the morning. This is a problem. Why? Because now I am hooked. I can't afford to be hooked on anything else! ...and yet, here I am. Getting cards on eBay (hey, they were cheap cheap). *sigh* There's no hope for me...
P.S. Because I am crazy busy--& hush, I'm not really complaining, only a little--I'm not gonna be on the internet much. This means I won't be keeping up with everyone's LJs a lot. So if there's something terribly important...contact me an old fashioned way. :)
