I think I may have permanently disabled my computer last night. I didn't even do anything drastic, except that it's been flickering in & out of existence for a good long while now. I managed to somehow make the screen go white (which has never happened before) & when I turned it back on it was moving slower than a glacier in winter. The upside is that I didn't actually lose any files...they just take forever to open.
I have spent all today either wrapped up in English (class, writing my paper, trying to make Shakespeare's words mean what I think they mean, or thought they meant when I wrote my thesis statement) or work (that hour with Elspeth was the best session I've had in a long time though). Right now I am waiting for Madeline to read my (godawful draft of my) English paper so I can work on it with her. Then I have to talk to Dr. Bean about it. Then find a working computer to do at least some token work on my history draft. And then pack.
Ladies & Gentlemen, if you want me, you'll have to find me soon, because as of ridicuously early tomorrow morning, I am gone to Chicago. I cannot wait...
