My three reasons for wanting to take Latin: 1) because Madsen is teaching it; 2) because I am an utter nerd; and 3) so I can read Catullus in the original. So, that's junior year. *grin*

Next fall (assuming I don't take the class I must for tutoring), my fourth class will either be Italian (at godawful class times) or English 305: Writing Fiction, taught by Sean McDowell. I cannot figure out why that name is so familiar, but it is, and it has a good connotation in my head, so I think I'll just take that and run. My other classes are Lit (Shakespeare! Marlowe! Huzzah!), History and Thought, all in that same early-modern period. Oh, hurrah...next fall will rock. Life is looking good.

...it looks less good when I look at what I have to do before then, or rather before June; but c'est la vie. Or, buggeralle.

to do list, for me )

I went to get a toasted cheese for dinner and when it came off the oven the lady called me "Lia." That would have been unremarkable except for the fact that a) it isn't my name (only it is, elsewhere), and b) I didn't give them my name.

Has the world shifted one over while I wasn't looking? Am I now suddenly a pyromancer and co-owner of Wyvern's Web?

Alternately, she could just have gotten my name wrong...but I prefer the former explaination.

* I LOVE THEATRE. I bloody love how one brilliant rehersal can make my day so much better.

* Today I was proclaimed (or called, at least) a consummate theatre dork. I already knew this, but I really like it when people say it, so thanks, Tim.

* I always knew my first kiss would be in a play. I was so right.

* Slapping people on stage is increidibly fun. I already knew this as well, but...heh. Especially when I get that nap right on target. *smack!*

* I think I may have pulled a muscle round my left ribs...or something. And then I was poking around trying to feel what had happened...ribs are weird.

*Apparently some person named Lockwood donated a pile of money to the Honors program, so I can now add "Lockwood Scholar" to my academic resume. My question: why would I want to? And who is this Lockwood person, anyway?

*It is probably very obvious that I do not want to read Vasari tonight (or Goffen, or Michelangelo). Oh, grrr. *trundles off to read Vasari anyway*
