Let me just begin by stating that Jamie Leval is an amazing musician & I am in awe. (He mentioned that he mostly lived on the road at this point, on people's couches, & I leaned over to my parents & said, "we have a couch.")
I went to Folklife for a couple hours today--just to see Jamie Leval. Then it was back to my philosophy paper, which I did a full second draft of in about four hours, including a break for dinner. Go me. I got utterly stuck on my lit paper, though...I sent a couple emails to Iyer, muttering about my difficulties & putting down some ideas, but I'm pretty sure they make no sense whatsoever. Ah well. Help is what teachers are for.
That means I just have to get myself out of that rut, & then fix my history paper, & then write that paper for McDowell...& that's pretty much it for actual assignments. It's nearly over...
Tomorrow will be Folklife all day. This will make me happy.
I posted something on
field_of_ink--a snippet, as usual, with pretty much only one good line to reccommend it...but I rather like it anyway.
Right. If I'm actually staying awake, maybe I should read philosophy...
